DECEMBER Rally Obedience (Wed. a.m.)

Service Description

This is a six week long class but there are NO CLASSES on DECEMBER 24th OR DECEMBER 31st. Appropriate for all dogs who have completed some basic manners or obedience classes and have proof of Canine Parvo virus, Canine Distemper, and Canine Rabies vaccinations (or titers) prior to the start of the first class. Rally Obedience (sometimes called Rally-O or just Rally) is a great way to improve obedience skills in a fun and supportive atmosphere. You will help your dog navigate a course of 10-20 different signs, side-by-side. At each of these signs, your dog will perform a different skill like sit, down, stand, stay, right finish, left finish, about turn, etc. Your work as a team with your dog, moving continuously throughout the course with the dog under control at your left side. Rally helps to develop a dog’s smooth performance of obedience skills. Unlike traditional obedience, handlers are allowed to encourage their dogs during the Rally course.
